Breast Cancer Screening

Breast Cancer Screening is crucial for women especially after the age of 35. However, women with a family history of breast cancer need to be alert at any given age. Whether you have never had breast cancer and want to increase your odds of early detection, you have recently been diagnosed, or you are in the midst of treatment and follow-up, you know that breast cancer and medical tests go hand in hand. The American Cancer Society recommends that some women because of their family history, a genetic tendency, or certain other factors should be screened with MRI in addition to mammograms.

Premier Diagnostics provides exclusive Breast Cancer Screening which includes a series of tests and diagnostics. The screening includes a breast examination by our doctor to check for any lump or abnormalities. A Mammogram is done to screen for breast cancer. If an abnormality is detected on a screening mammogram, the doctor may recommend a diagnostic mammogram to further evaluate that abnormality.
